I Hate the Color Maroon

Hibs 0-1 Yams-
Nasty dirty win from Hearts in the derby Saturday, 1-0. Hibs were just not aggressive enough despite owning the ball for most of the game. The yams were plenty aggressive, with three bookings, two for dissent and the usual unsportsmanlike behavior. Par for the course with them but it wasn’t enough to be in Hibs’ favor.

The after match interviews with Frail were amusing:
The interviewer asked Frail, "Weren’t all the yams in today’s match foreigners?"
Frail: "They were all Hearts players."
Translation: “Weren’t all of your scruffy, badly-behaved players on the field all Lithuanian? Frail: “That’s all I’ve been given to work with from Vlad, mate.”

There should have been a penalty against Karapides who pretty much hugged Hogg and tried to hump him, but none was awarded. Honestly, would it have mattered much anyway?
Meanwhile Mixu is pissed—he’s said there should have been chances taken, there should have been more responsibility taken. All true, and I hope he whips them into shape this week. But he refuses to blame Ma-Kalambay:

The week also saw the departure of Murphs who went for an unclear sum to Birmingham, (1.5, 2, 2.1m?), where he wanted to go. We’re all happy for him because he wanted to go but it was poor timing to do it right before the city derby. And it’s always sad seeing a quality player go…
But we did gain Ian Murray from Norwich and John Rankin from Caley. Murray says he’s glad to be back despite his Hunism but neither of the two did much for us in the derby today.
